AURELIAN WITHIN is now using Eventbrite to make finding and joining our free local events even easier. From High Tide Sea Dips to future walks, informal meet-ups and small group gatherings, each event offers men a relaxed, welcoming way to connect with others. There is no pressure to talk or take part in anything you do not want to. Simply come along, spend time with good people and see what feels right.

As AURELIAN WITHIN continues to grow, so does the way we bring men together. What began primarily as one-to-one conversations is gradually becoming something broader. Alongside those conversations, we are now creating small group gatherings, social events, walks and sea dips where men can simply spend time together in a relaxed environment.
To make those events easier to find and join, AURELIAN WITHIN is now using Eventbrite.
Why Eventbrite?
The idea behind AURELIAN WITHIN has always been to keep things simple. No complicated joining process. No membership. No pressure to explain why you want to come along. Eventbrite gives us a straightforward way of putting all the important information about an event in one place. You can see where we're meeting, when we're meeting and what to expect before deciding whether you would like to join us. For our free events, booking a place through Eventbrite is simply a way of letting us know you're coming. And most importantly, AURELIAN WITHIN events remain completely free.
Our first Eventbrite event
Our first event listed through Eventbrite was the High Tide Sea Dip at Worthing Beach on Friday 7th August 2026 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm
The idea could hardly be simpler. Meet by the sea. Spend some time with other men. Get into the water if you want to. Have a conversation if you want to. Or just turn up. There is something about the sea that seems to strip life back to basics. The sound of the water, the horizon and the physical shock of stepping into the sea have a way of bringing you very firmly into the present moment. Add a few good people to that environment and conversation tends to happen naturally. That's exactly what these gatherings are intended to be.
This isn't a forced sharing circle
It is worth saying this clearly. AURELIAN WITHIN group events are not about sitting in a circle waiting for your turn to reveal your deepest thoughts to a room full of strangers. There is no expectation to speak. There is no pressure to participate in anything you don't want to do. Some people might have a proper conversation. Others might have a laugh, walk along the beach or spend ten minutes staring at the Channel wondering why getting into cold water ever seemed like a sensible idea. All of those are perfectly acceptable. The purpose is simply to create opportunities for men to connect without having to manufacture the conversation.
More events are coming
The High Tide Sea Dip is just one type of gathering. Future AURELIAN WITHIN events will include more sea dips, walks, informal meet-ups and small group spaces around Worthing and the surrounding area. Some will involve nature. Some will simply involve getting a few people together. The format may change. The principle won't.
Good people. A calm environment. No judgement. No pressure.
You don't need to be struggling to come along. You don't need a reason. Sometimes getting out of the house, meeting somebody new and having a decent conversation is reason enough.
